What inspired me to work in healthcare was seeing my grandmother take care of my granddaddy
Hello, my name is Evelyn Simmons, and I am the Special Care Coordinator at The Landings of Georgetown. I have been working in the healthcare field for 27 years. What inspired me to work in healthcare was seeing my grandmother take care of my granddaddy. What I enjoy most about working with the residents is getting to know them and the stories they share about their life journey. My favorite part about this community is that we treat each other like family.
I also have a Certificate in Applied Science, American Association of Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certificate in Pharmacy Technician and Certified Phlebotomy Technician.
